DMX USB Pro not recognised
#1
Running Mac OS 10.14. and try to connect my DMX USB Pro (20th anniversary edition) to EMU - doesnt find the hardware at rescan.
Do I need to install the FTDI Drivers with Mac? Where? How?
In the System Information Window the DMX USB Pro is recognised.
Thank you for help...

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out.

MacOS 10.14 Apple includes their own FTDI driver used by the ENTTEC DMX USB Pro, this shouldn't require any new drivers installing on your system.

Firstly could I ask that you've checked the steps at https://enttec.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces...MX+USB+PRO and tried running ENTTEC's Pro Manager to ensure the Pro is operating as expected. (DMX USB Pro's can only connect to one piece of software at a time so be sure to close anything that could be connected to it.

Close Pro Manager and launch EMU (the latest production build can be downloaded here: https://s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/enttec-software-builds/emu/EMU-21.03.22.2.dmg
)

The latest build introduce the ability to configure the refresh rate, Break and MAB time of your DMX USB Pro from EMU directly.

Be sure to let us know how you get on
